| South Devon's Premier Centre for Glass & Glazing for Trade and Retail. |

Union Glass Centres has been a familiar name in the supply of glass in Devon for over 25 years, but since 1990 it has been a family owned business, growing each year. In 1999 we purchased our own 20,000 sq ft facility in Armada Street, Plymouth, to enable us to expand our range of services and products. We have on-site facilities for drilling, edging and sandblasting, as well as extensive stocks of all types of glass, many of which you may see in our showroom. We continue to expand our product range and corporate business.
We serve all the needs of the South Devon and eastern Cornwall catchment area for small or large jobs, retail or trade accounts.
We are preferred suppliers for many new build organisations as well as shopfitters and developers. We supply many schools in the area and are a preferred supplier for Plymouth City Council.
Delivery and on-site work is all possible using our fleet of vans and qualified glazing professionals. As we are trained and certified to all relevant Health and Safety Standards, you can be sure that all or work is insured and performed to Best Industry Practice.
Creativity in Design and Application
We are now providing new generation products such as Painted Glass to your custom design, as well as all the all the staple products for domestic and commercial use, which may then be processed to your requirements in our on-site facilty before delivery to you - our customer.
The applications are endless, kitchen splashbacks, shower screens, or just the general ornamental use of glass throughout the home or workplace.
Flat or curved, geometric or shaped, laminated or toughened; glass can be painted. Ceramic or screen printed fired-in glass in toughened form is the most popular and durable. Screen printing provides the most versatility with regard to original designs on glass, as a one-off screen is produced through which the paint is applied prior to being fired onto the surface of the glass. Back painted glass is also available in annealed and laminated forms. This is becoming more popular in domestic applications such as glass splashbacks in kitchens and cladding on bathroom walls
